The Berkeley Center of Excellence in French and Francophone Studies is sponsoring an upcoming roundtable event, "Choose France for Science." It will be held September 18 from 12-1 in the French Library (4229 Dwinelle).
From the organizers:
"Claire Giry, director of the French National Research Agency (ANR), will present various opportunities to pursue education and a career in science in France, in collaboration with Fabien Agenes and Jan Matas, from the Inserm/CNRS offices in the French Embassy in the US, and David Do Paço, from Villa Albertine-French Cultural Services in the US. They will present different types of programs, including the new Lafayette fellowship.
Please spread the word to your students and/or anyone who could be interested, and we are looking forward to welcoming you on that day!"
