On this page, you will find activities on machine translation, genAI, and related tools, fully adapted to specific languages.
The instructional modules are organized below by language, with the following languages currently available: Arabic, Dutch, Filipino, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Mandarin Chinese.
Adapted activities are further organized by level (beginning, intermediate, advanced) and learning focus (tool use, tool functionality). (nb. Advanced-level activities will be available in FA2026.)
Each adapted activity includes three sections:
- Instructor preparation: notes, necessary preparation and background for the instructor
- Lesson plan: detailed sequence of how the activity can be integrated into a classroom
- Learner worksheet: materials directed at students, often in the target language
