It is with great pleasure that the BLC introduces our very first Undergraduate Outreach Coordinator: Roxana Wang!
Roxana is a second-year student studying Comparative Literature, German, and Classics (albeit with an occasional dip into Political Economy). She is considering a career as a philologist but has no idea how to become one.
The focus of her work in the BLC this semester has been planning and organizing the student-led events for the series Our languages, our cultures. In addition, she created and designed the undergraduate contest Exploring the boundaries of translation. Her work has made an invaluable contribution to creating spaces in the BLC for undergraduates to engage with languages and cultures. Thank you, Roxana, and we very much look forward to continuing this work!
