Elisa Repo (M.A.) is a doctoral researcher in applied linguistics and educational sciences at the University of Turku, Finland, who will join the BLC as a Visiting Student Researcher for one year starting this January. Her doctoral thesis focuses on increasing linguistic diversity in schools. Besides her research, Elisa has been working as a university teacher in the Department of Teacher Education, teaching courses on language-awareness, language learning, multilingualism, and language and literature pedagogy. She previously taught Finnish language in multilingual lower secondary schools in Finland and worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Hamburg in Germany, and as a Fulbright FLTA at Indiana University.
