Nataliia Goshylyk, Associate Professor of English at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University (Ukraine) and Director of the Centre for Communication Research NGO, will be a Fulbright Scholar at the BLC this year. Professor Goshylyk’s research interests include Cognitive Linguistics, Ecolinguistics, Discourse Analysis, Intercultural Communication, Methods of Foreign Language Teaching, Media Literacy and Academic Integrity. During her stay, she will be working under the supervision of Prof. Emerita Claire Kramsch and Prof. Rick Kern on a project entitled “Personal Narratives of Ecolinguistic Identity for A Sustainable Future,” which brings together research on ecolinguistic identity with a focus on sustainable development discourse as its content frame. Professor Goshylyk plans to arrive September 27 and welcomes all opportunities to engage with members of the BLC community. Welcome Professor Goshylyk!
