World Language, English Language, and Heritage Language Teachers:
The Berkeley World Language Project, sponsored by the Berkeley Language Center at UC Berkeley, invites ALL language teachers at ALL levels to join us for the Keys to the Communicative Classroom.
Strand A: Designing Lessons for Speaking, and Listening
Prerequisite: None ($400 total for 6 Saturdays)
Strand B: Engaging Students in Reading, Writing, and Assessment
Prerequisite: Strand A or equivalent ($400 total for 6 Saturdays)
Strand C: Designing Thematic Units (Theme for 2019-20: Looking East)
Prerequisite: Strand A or equivalent ($400 total for 6 Saturdays)
Strand HL: Supporting Heritage Language Learners
Prerequisite: Strand A recommended ($150: Sept. 28 & Oct. 26)
Strand T: Supporting Communication with Technology
Prerequisite: Strand A recommended ($250: Jan. 25, Feb. 29, March 21)
All World Language, English Language and Heritage Language instructors are welcome. Please register for only ONE strand.
(Exception: you may register for both HL and T.)
