We are excited to let users of the LFLFC know about several exciting developments:
First, we have moved from Adobe Flash to HTML5 as our platform for delivering video, which means that users may now watch video clips on mobile devices such as tablets and cell phones.
Second, we are now partnering with the Media Resources Center, which means that the BLC’s collection of 1800+ films will now be housed in the MRC, and the MRC will be making more of its voluminous collection of documentaries and feature films available through the LFLFC.
Third, we are developing version 2 of the LFLFC which will incorporate many new features enriching the viewing experience. Look for a release date in late summer or early fall of 2016. If you have suggestions for enhancement or ease of use, please send me a note.
