BLC recording studio utilized for BBC program on graffiti

The BBC recently utilized the Berkeley Language Center’s recording studio in order to conduct and record a remote interview with Cal staff member Quinn Dombrowski. The topic was not her work as a Research Applications Developer with Information Services and Technology, but for her personal ongoing project of documenting graffiti from university libraries. Hear the story here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p033l4gg. Her portion picks up at 11:11.

The interview was conducted by phone call with the BBC interviewers in the UK and Dombrowski sitting in the recording studio here in Dwinelle Hall. The participants were recorded on both ends with high quality microphones and the phone call going through headphones, so that later on the files could be synced together and edited to sound like they were in the same room.
