week and the tentative schedule for the following week for BLC computer
labs and multimedia classrooms are posted outside the rooms and on
this page.
B-4 Dwinelle: Multimedia Classroom B-4 provides modular furniture and state-of-the-art equipment
including an instructor computer, a large-screen data and video projector,
a multi-standard video player, and a region-independent DVD player. In
addition, 16mm film projection is also available. Capacity: 55. Schedule
B-21 Dwinelle:
PC Lab The room B-21 PC Lab (21 computers, printer, and data
projection) is reserved for language classes and is the evening drop-in
facility for language students. Hours:
Monday–Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 7:00
p.m. Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Closed:
weekends, academic and administrative holidays, between
sessions. Note:
For the first week of Fall 2007 (August 27 – 31), room B-21 will
be open from 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Schedule
B-22 Dwinelle: Multimedia Development
Lab This small development lab for student projects features
two high-end PCs, scanners, and multimedia development software. Contact
for access.
B-34 Dwinelle: Distance Learning
and Video Conferencing Classroom
Room B-34 Distance Learning Lab provides modular furniture and
video conferencing equipment for both delivering and receiving
distance learning language classes. Capacity:10 Schedule

Learning and Video Conferencing Classroom
This classroom provides modular furniture and state-of-the-art equipment including
six computers, a large-screen data and video projector, a multi-standard video
player, a region-independent DVD player, scanners,and a printer. Room 33 also
features video conferencing equipment for both delivering and receiving distance

This recently-remodeled classroom provides modular furniture and state-of-the-art

134 Dwinelle: PC Lab This ten-station PC Lab is primarily a testing facility
for language classes. Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Closed: weekends, academic and administrative holidays, between sessions. Schedule
135 Dwinelle: PC Lab The room 135 PC Lab (27 computers, printer, and data
projection) is primarily a drop-in facility for language students,
although occasionally it is reserved for language classes. Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Closed:
weekends, academic and administrative holidays, between sessions. Schedule
BLC Audio Materials Online The audio materials supplementing the texts used in
many lower-division language classes are being streamed at the BLC
web site here.
A pass-word provided by the instructor is required.
Using Legacy Audio and Video Materials A select group of materials may still be checked out
from room B-50 for use in the listening and viewing room, B-34. There
are eight listening and six video carrels. Please see the staff in
B-33 for assistance. Hours: Monday–Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Closed:
